Who is “Own Your Self” for?

If you are wondering what motivates people to work with people like me, how long they continue working with me, and if you are approaching your Life-Journey in the right way, here is a short observation:

1. Some people have an innate urge to know who they really are and what is the meaning of life. They use their life-journey as a guide of how to expand, live a meaningful life, and to know themselves. They come without issues and are open to expand into more wisdom, joy, and success. These people have it easy. They continue their Life-journey Coaching voluntarily.

2. Some people have a drive to being and doing their best and to expand into greater success. Sometimes they have to make life-changing-decisions and are uncertain of if they should choose to go along with what is expected of them or if they should choose what makes them excited to be alive. They come to me to get guidance and encouragement. These people investigate their options and possibilities. They voluntarily take an active role in making the best out of their lives. They continue their Coaching until they feel clear about what is right for them and have courage to act on them. Sometimes they return to their Coaching when they meet new difficult decisions.

3. Some people get into what is called mid-life crises, because they have accomplished everything they set out to do and now they don’t know what to do. They find themselves without purpose and no foundation to stand on, so they come to get help with dealing with feeling bored, depressed, and confused, and to find their purpose for living again. These people are lost. They struggle, while still continuing their Coaching until they find their Purpose again.

4. Some people have so much emotional and physical pain, disabilities, and financial or relationships problems that they can’t continue doing what they were doing and can’t function, so they come to me to release pain, issues, solve problems, and get hope and help with a new way of living. These people are going through a hard time. They are forced to find help. Once their issue is solved, or goal is achieved they stop their coaching. They may come back for more Coaching when another issue shows up.

Can you identify which option you are at?

If you can, then you know your motivation to do Coaching, what you are looking for, and your expected engagement.

Natural Breathing vs. the Breathing Control System

There are 2 reasons why you sometimes automatically breathe more and sometimes less:

1. Natural Breathing spontaneously inflate you with more Life-force and Well-being and thus keep you above the Breathing Threshold when:

• You relax and let go, like when you sigh and yawn.
• You are carefree and enjoy a good laugh.
• You open up restrained emotions.
• You let go and fall sleep.
• You physically exert yourself.

2. The Breathing Control System forces you to remain in a status quo aliveness balance, making sure you don’t build up more energy than you use up and thus keep you below the Breathing Threshold when:

• You are physically active you breathe more and when you are physically inactive you breathe less.
• You are mentally agitated you breathe more and when you are mentally calm you breathe less.

The Breathing Control System resists Natural Breathing, but it can’t actually totally stop it, like you can’t choose to stop your breathing for more than a moment.

Validating Your Reality

You always use one of these 3 ways to demonstrate that what you believe, is true, because if you didn’t, your internal and external worlds would not match, and you would go crazy.

You will ATTRACT people, things, and situations that match what you expect.

  • This means that what you want is manifested as your results.
  • This is a harmonious life.

You will INTERPRET that people, things, and situations are what you believe.

  • This means that there is a discrepancy between what you believe and what your external world reflects. You ignore your reflection and live in a pretend reality.
  • This is a life of delusion.

You will MANIPULATE people, things, and situations to become what you want.

  • This means that you have to charm or force people, things, and situations to become what you want.
  • This is a life of struggle.

Dysfunctional example: If you think that people are angry, you will attract angry people, interpret that people are angry, or manipulate people to become angry.

Functional example: If you think that people like sailing, you will attract sailors, interpret that people like sailing, or take people sailing, to make them like sailing.

When you attract people, things, and situations, that match what you want, you are a vibrational a match.

When you ignore how people, things, and situations appear, and you act as is if they are what you want them to be, over-riding that they currently actually are not, then you are denying your current manifestation, and that you have the power to create. You are the creator of your life, so eventually you will have to acknowledge what your current results are.

When you change people, things, and situations to match what you want, you will only, at best, have temporary result, because you are not vibrating at the level of actually having attracted them into your life. Then it is time to start your inner work and raise your own vibration to be at the frequency of what you want.

The Creative Questions Approach

Your Thinking Process consists of 2 parts – Questions and Answers.

Questions directs your thinking to find answers and solutions.

If you are unaware of the power of questions, then you can easily get caught in asking destructive questions, leading to damaging understanding and results.

We tend to ask limiting questions, like, if your car doesn’t start, you’ll easily ask “Why isn’t my car starting?” But when it starts you don’t ask “Why is my car starting?”

The purpose of Creative Questions is to harness and direct your Thinking Process to transform unwanted questions and their results, to make you think in alignment with what you do want.

Creative Questions are specific questions that activate your creativity and stimulate and force your Thinking Process to find the solutions that your mind needs to be able to manifest what you want.

A Creative Question
is a favorable question
that has the answer built into the question,
so there is only a positive way you can respond to the question.

For example, “Why am I happy?” cannot give you the answer “Because I am a failure.” But must answer “Because I am successful.” This leads to you feeling wonderful.
